My Irish Setter is about 15 months old. I’m a ltitle late in the game but its due to me going back state side soon. My host country has strict rules about hunting and I thought it better to start now that way he’ll have adequate training when going back home. That way he’s not training for 2 something years before actually going hunting. Im waiting on some training aids but for now he listens to basic commands and have even gotten him to point very beautifully. Just need to work on getting him a ltitle lower and keep his head on point regardless of distractions. Just got finished reading a book by Falk but it was a ltitle outdated from 76 I believe. So now Im working on getting some quail and raising some of them too as they would be an addition to the regimen. Any ideas and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Still doing research do see if my host country will allow starter pistols. BrianPS. having issues with posting as yall do with yalls names. Any ideas how to remedy this?
RE: I think the south end issue is similar to the Snohomish issue, which is that’s where the land is, and that’s where the luprsvepoy problems become the greatest. In those areas they can clear huge parcels of land and build dozens of houses relatively quickly. It’s sort of similar to condos, where luprsvepoy can quickly become an issue.
